European Perch
European Perch is a predatory fish species of the Percidae family, found in freshwater basins and slow-moving rivers, deep lakes and ponds. Perch are distinguished by green bodies with dark vertical bars and red fins. Adult Perch also have a hump between the head and dorsal fin. European Perch usually weigh from 0.5 to 1 kg (1.1 to 2.2 lb), with unique specimen sometimes reaching a weight of up to 2 kg (4 lb). Fully grown Perch feed mostly on invertebrates and other fish.
