Karoo Mermaid

The Karoo Mermaid is as bewitchingly beautiful as a Sharptooth Catfish can possibly be, which is dubious at best; although we'll plant this one firmly within the eye of the beholder.It is said to have dark hair bound in fishtails, and a warbling, captivating voice that lures unsuspecting victims to a watery grave. The moniker in question had been passed down from generation to generation, drawing very loosely from cave paintings created by the Khoi-san people, which depict humanoid figures with fish-like tails. On closer inspection you'll see that this mermaid has a lot more 'mer' than 'maid' but the allure is the same. Be careful not to let her pull you under.
