Rednose Labeo
The Rednose Labeo is a bottom-dwelling African Carp. They can be found in shallow areas, but mainly inhabit deep waters. They tend to reach about 10 in (27 cm) long at maturity, however have been known to reach over 20 in (49 cm) in length and 8 lb (3.6 kg) in weight. Rednose Labeo feed in schools across muddy and rocky bottoms, consuming algae, worms, small crustaceans, and mollusks.
