Rock Bass
The Rock Bass, also known as the Rock Perch and Red Eye, is a freshwater fish native to North America. They are similar in appearance to the Smallmouth Bass, however are typically significantly smaller. The average Rock Bass is around 6-10 in (15-25 cm) long, and rarely weigh over 1 lb (0.4 kg). Rock Bass can live to be around 12 years old. They prefer clear, rocky, and vegetated stream pools and lake margins.
