Thicklip Mullet
The Thicklip Mullet is a coastal fish commonly found in sheltered coasts, estuaries, and around power station or sewer outfalls. It is typically about 13 in (32 cm) long, with 30 in (75 cm) being the maximum recorded length. It feeds mainly on benthic diatoms, epiphytic algae, small invertebrates and detritus. The Thicklip Grey Mullet lays its eggs in winter.
