Tiger Muskie
The Tiger Muskellunge, commonly called the Tiger Muskie, is the usually sterile, hybrid offspring of the True Muskellunge and Norther Pike. They are known to be incredibly strong and large fish, growing to over 50 in (130 cm). Like other hybrid species, Tiger Muskie is said to have 'hybrid vigor', meaning they grow faster and stronger than their parent fish. They are an elite catch and a difficult fight. Tiger Muskies have been known to turn to cannibalism if the water temperature gets too low.
